Growing up, I got hit by every single branch of the "misunderstood tree". I struggled with feeling unseen, unheard, and different. Even as an adult, I wrestled with feeling lost, anxious, and questioning everything—all while searching for my place in the world.

Then, during my doctoral studies at Texas A&M University, I had a revelation.

I was gifted.

And yet, I had spent years convinced I was just “too much.” It took my professor and mentor, Dr. Joyce Juntune, to show me that my deep emotions, imagination, and intensity weren’t flaws—they were strengths.

That moment changed everything.

Once I understood my overexcitabilities, my mind shifted from fighting them to using them for God’s purpose. Instead of seeing my emotions and creativity as burdens, I began channeling them into teaching, coaching, and leading others on the same journey.
